Cradles to Crayons' Ready for School initiative helps lay the foundation for school success by providing everything children need to start the school year off on the right foot. We equip students with the basic back-to-school tools that they need to succeed in class and fit in with their peers, from clothing to shoes to a new backpack filled with crayons, pencils, notebooks, and other age-appropriate school supplies. (We provide two distinct backpacks based on age range; one for children ages 5-8 and a second for children ages 9-12).
We invite you to join us in preparing thousands of low income children for school by giving them the resources they need to feel successful and be able to thrive in and out of the classroom.
